Lesson learned never leave a 1 1/2 year old alone with a open 5 gallon bucket of flour. Marcus had a great time coating the kitchen and himself with flour. He didn't like it when I took him on the back deck and gave him a quick shower and I didn't like the 2 hours it took me to clean up the mess.

Broken Arm
We were invited over to our friends house for a Memorial day BBQ. The kids brought their swimming suits and enjoyed sliding down the homemade super slip n slide. It was so big that 6 little girls could sit next to each other and slide down the hill in the back yard. The girls really had a fun time until Raquel got hurt. Raquel could still more her arm and fingers and so we waited it out to see if it still hurt in the morning. The next day it still was painful so Raquel headed to the doctor. The doctor evaluated her arm and thought it wasn't broken but ordered an x-ray anyway. The kids and I headed to the hospital to x-ray Raquel's arm. Well it ended up being fractured and Raquel gets to wear a brace on her arm for the next 2 to 4 weeks. Raquel sure is a stoic. She has had a smile on her face the whole time.

Aviation Days
The VT airport put on Aviation days. Mike and I took the kids to see all the planes. It was a hot day and Marcus was scared of all the noise so we didn't stay too long. We enjoyed seeing all the small planes and sitting in a few.

Last of Kindergarten
Raquel finished up kindergarten this week and it was a fun filled week of food and playing. Monday Natalya, Marcus, Erik and I had a picnic lunch with Raquel at her school with all the kindergarten kids and their parents. Natalya & Marcus felt like they were big kids too hanging out with all the kindergarteners. The kids had fun running around and eating popsicles and playing.

Bike Ride
Since Raquel has learned to ride a bike she has been on it almost everyday. She will ride it before and after school and late into the evening before bed. She has always just ridden on our street in front of our house. But today her and Dad took a trip on their bikes to Food Lion, over a mile one way up and down hills. She did a great job riding and came back with treats to share with the family.

Dad's Office
Sometimes we are lucky enough to get to hang out at daddy's office. And even luckier when he has treats. The kids enjoyed their chocolate pudding oreo dessert at dad's office.

Wheels & Wagons
Raquel had her friend Gracie over for very first sleep over. The girls had fun watching movies, eating popcorn and playing. Raquel fell asleep way before her friend Gracie and Natalya. When I went to tell the girls it was time for bed about 11 pm they were cleaning their room, so I couldn't get mad at them for staying up too late. They just ended up taking naps the next day.

The next day Mike took the girls and Gracie to Home Depot for the kids clinic. We then meet them at the Wheels and Wagons event. The kids had decorated their bikes to ride in the bike parade. Marcus was even in the parade riding on his princess big. He was so cute! We watched a helicopter land, explored a few buses and then it started to rain. So we didn't get to do all the other fun things but we did enjoy going out to lunch with Gracie and her family for Mexican.

Grass
We were hanging out in the front yard so we decided to introduce Erik to grass. He did really good and didn't mind laying in it at all.

Natalya loves her little baby brother. We had to teach her early on that she could't carry him around because she was constantly doing it. Marcus has even picked up his little brother and moved him. Her is a picture of he carrying him around.
