Easter

Happy Easter!
It took the kids no time at all to find all the treats and eggs the Easter Bunny left for them. Erik wasn't to   sure what the big deal was about collecting plastic eggs but his brother was more than happy to eat his candy for him.

Egg Hunt

The kids had lots of fun at the 1st and Main shopping center Easter egg hunt. They made crafts, got face paint, hunted for eggs and Natalya even won a big Easter basket full of yummy chocolate, toys and games.

Chicken Coop

We built a chicken coop and the chicks are finally outside. It was fun having them around for the kids to play with but its great to get rid of the smell and constant hay on the floor.  Mike did a great job coming up with a design and building the coop. The chickens seem to love their new found freedom and space.

Marcus & Markers

Marcus & Natalya decided to do a bit of coloring. Which normally is a great activity but today they colored all over the walls in their bedrooms, in the hall and all over Marcus and Erik. Poor little Erik had colored toe nails and marker all over his legs.  Luckily it was washable marker and Natalya and Marcus were put to work scrubbing their masterpieces.

Snow

Normally snow wouldn't be that big of deal but when we get enough to cancel church and school the last week of March here in Blacksburg its big. Even though we are very ready for Spring the kids had fun playing and enjoying their snow days.

Pet Chick!

Marcus has a pet chick.  He has picked out a favorite chicken that he always catches and carries around like a baby. He loves being able to play with the chicks and is always letting them out to run around our pantry.

Shower

Erik loves the water and especially loves taking showers. The other day I had turned on the water to warm up and then left the room to get a towel. I came back and found Erik fully clothed having fun in the shower.
