Halloween 2014

The kids had lots of fun for Halloween this year. The girls dressed up as jellyfish for swim practice, ate lots of candy at the ward trunk or treat and trick or treated for 2 hours on Halloween.  The weather was nice and the roads were flat and we got a lot of candy.  Marcus was a shark, Erik a parrot and Natalya & Raquel dressed up as Elsa and Anna.  We thought we would see lots of Frozen characters out this year but the girls were one of only a couple we saw.  Most little girls were excited to see an Elsa and Anna coming down the street.

Papa & Grandma Visit

Papa & Grandma Clinger came for their first visit to Yorktown.  We had fun showing them a lot of the historic sites. We visited Ft. Monroe and the beach, Yorktown Battlefield and Jamestown Settlement and spent lots of time outside enjoying the beautiful weather.

Family Pictures

We decided to take advantage of the beautiful Sunday morning and take a few pictures.  My parents were here to take a few family ones for us.   

Basketball & Soccer

Our Saturdays have been busy with soccer, basketball and a few swim meets.  Natalya is having fun playing on an all girls team the Purple Grape or Flowers or whatever they want to call themselves that week.  Raquel is on the Green Jays and they are undefeated so far this season.  Its been lots of fun watching both girls meet new friends and have a good time on the field.

Marcus had a basketball class that he started out hating but enjoyed it in the end and has even asked to take it again.  He did a great job learning to stretch, run the court, shoot a ball and dribble.
