Home Depot Kids Clinic

Mike took Raquel to the Home Depot kids clinic last week to build a battery shelf. It's a great daddy-daughter date. They have fun building, going out to lunch together at Wendy's and spending time together. Last week when they went Raquel came home with a big box of free projects to build. I guess they had left over kits from last year and so they gave them to Raquel to build at home, they even sent home the project pins to pin on her apron when she finished building them.
Raquel came home very excited because Mike had bought her, her very own tool kit to help her build her projects. And I had stocked up on craft paint so the girls could add a little color to the things they built. It took no time at all for Raquel and Natalya to build most of the projects and paint them.

Natalya painting the battery shelf and a little of herself too.

So far Raquel has build and painted the battery shelf, Fire Station Bank, a Calendar, a Fire boat and a picture frame. She only has a few left to do at home but I know she will be going with her dad again to build projects at Lowe's and Home Depot.
